My name is Armaan, and as of this post, I am a rising sophomore in a Massachusetts private school who is interested in one day attending university for business or engineering. However, in order to get there, I have to graduate high school first, and I would like to with the help of AI.

You may be wondering why AI. In my freshman year of high school, I was in an Engineering 1 class. As a part of this course, we covered AI, and I knew then that it was a fascinating topic as I realized how much AI helps us in our daily life and how much there was that we could use it for.

This inspired me to start a blog and talk about the benefits and limitations of AI and how it is used in our daily lives. My plan is to keep this blog and use it all the way until my senior year of college, highlighting the various ways I encounter and use AI, especially in my classes and as it develops in various areas.

We use AI every day in our normal lives; AI is everywhere. On a normal basis, I use AI many times a day such as when listening to Spotify, navigating with Google Maps, and scrolling through Netflix. AI is a huge part of our lives. If you’re interested in learning more specifically about what AI is and how it is used in these apps (and more), check out my first blog post titled “Uncovering the Basics of Artificial Intelligence: A Comprehensive Guide for Beginners.”

As time goes on, I see AI in the future advancing quite a bit and becoming even more a part of our daily lives until it can assist with more mundane jobs such as driving, cooking, and cleaning with little to no human intervention. I even see it helping in areas such as health care where it could be used to help assist with surgeries and diagnosis. Ultimately, I would like to see more development with stronger AI and even AI gaining consciousness. This could not only be helpful in our daily lives, but would lead, I feel, to greater technological advancements.

There is only one direction to go from here: forward.
